The small stuff, sorted.
Six things worth knowing before you land, so none of them can surprise you after.
- Weather
- Late-February Mumbai is warm and dry: roughly 24–33°C days and balmy evenings. Light layers win; nobody needs a coat.
- Visas
- Most visitors need an Indian visa, and most can use the online e-visa. Apply through the official government portal a few weeks before you fly.
- Money
- Cards work at hotels and restaurants; smaller shops and taxis run on cash or UPI. Carry some rupees for the small stuff.
- Phones & data
- Buy a travel eSIM before you fly, or pick up a local SIM at the airport with your passport. The hotel Wi-Fi covers the rest.
- Getting around
- Uber works well across Mumbai. For longer days out, the hotel can arrange a car and driver.
- Water
- Stick to bottled or filtered water. The hotel’s is fine; the tap is not for drinking.

You don’t need a rulebook.
New to an Indian wedding? You are not expected to know the customs. We’ll give you the context, dress note, and arrival time for each celebration before you travel.

An evening of music, dancing, and both families celebrating together. Details will follow with the formal invitation.

The wedding itself. We’ll share a short guide to the rituals so everyone can follow along comfortably.

Dinner and celebration after the ceremony. Timing and dress guidance will arrive with the full schedule.
